Traditional Indian classroom game
Pen Fight
Pen Fight is the back-bench game of Indian classrooms: two pens on a wooden desk, one finger each, and a few minutes before the teacher walks in. Players take turns flicking their own pen to knock the other off the desk, and the pen that stays on wins.
How it’s played on the school desk
The rules most classes agree on. Every class adds its own.
Lay the two pens on the desk, one toward each end.
Decide who goes first. Players take turns, one flick each.
On your turn, flick your own pen with one finger. You may touch only your own pen.
Knock the other pen off the desk and you win the round. If your own pen falls off, you lose it. If both fall together, most classes replay the round.
Every class adds its own rules, like no metal pens, or a pen hanging half off the edge counts as out.
Play best of three or best of five rounds.

Which pen is best for Pen Fight?
