Privacy Policy
Effective 31 October 2026
This policy explains how the Vilayo mobile game ("the app"), made by TechNatch Labs ("we", "us"), handles information. In short: we do not ask for, collect or store your personal information. The only data that leaves your phone goes to Google: anonymous usage statistics, optional Google Play Games cloud saves, ads and purchases, as described below.
1. No account of ours, no personal data
Vilayo has no accounts of its own. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information, and we run no server that receives data from the app. If you choose, you can sign in with Google Play Games to keep your progress in the cloud (section 4).
2. Data kept on your phone
Your progress (levels, stars, items, settings and the pieces you collect) is saved on your device. The app also keeps a small anonymous log of game events (for example "first game started" or "first win after 3 minutes") on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of this.
3. Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To learn which parts of the game players enjoy and where they get stuck, the app sends the same anonymous game events to Google Analytics for Firebase: for example that a first game was started, that the story card was shown, how long the first win took, or which game was played. The events contain no name, email or account, and we never send your progress or what you type. Firebase also records standard technical information such as an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system version, app version, country and session times, and it may use your device's advertising ID. We use these statistics only in aggregate to improve the game. You can reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Cloud save (Google Play Games)
If you sign in with Google Play Games, the app saves a copy of your progress to your Google account through Play Games Saved Games, so you can continue on a new phone. Google handles the sign-in and stores the save; we never see your Google account details. You can sign out in the app and delete saved game data in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Vilayo shows optional rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one (for an extra help). Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect and process your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information and ad interactions to show, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud. Ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), you are asked for consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the app. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy. Players who buy the Full Pass see no ads.
6. Purchases (Google Play)
The optional Full Pass is a one-time purchase made through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we never see or store your card or payment details. The app only receives a purchase confirmation from Google so it can unlock the pass and restore it on a new phone. See Google Payments Privacy Notice.
7. Sharing your results
If you tap Share, the app creates a picture of your result on your phone and hands it to the app you choose. We do not receive it.
8. Children
Vilayo is made for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Selling or sharing data
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone, apart from the Google services described above (Firebase usage statistics, Play Games cloud save, ads and purchases), which the app needs to measure the game, keep your progress, show ads and process purchases.
10. Deleting your data
Uninstalling Vilayo or clearing its app data in your phone's settings removes everything stored on your device. A Google Play Games cloud save can be deleted in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings. Anonymous usage statistics are kept by Google Analytics for Firebase for a limited time and then deleted automatically; to ask us to delete them sooner, write to the contact address below. There is no Vilayo account to delete.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
